Molson Coors names Natalie Maciolek chief legal and government affairs officer

Molson Coors Beverage Company has appointed Natalie Maciolek chief legal and government affairs officer, effective Sept. 5.

Maciolek most recently served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Kohler Co. since 2018 and served in other legal roles at the company since 2013. She will become a member of Molson Coors’ leadership team, based in Chicago, reporting to CEO Gavin Hattersley.

“Natalie’s breadth of experience providing trusted and strategic counsel will be a tremendous asset to Molson Coors and our legal team across the globe,” Hattersley said. “She’s an extremely people-centric leader and impressed me with her focus on supporting and growing employees, which has been a hallmark of her 20+ year career.”

Maciolek, in her role as Molson Coors’ top lawyer, will be responsible for all legal matters, including corporate governance, securities law and regulatory compliance, as well as the company’s government affairs.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Maciolek earned her juris doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School. She spent nine years as an associate and partner at Quarles & Brady LLP. While in law school, she interned as a legal clerk at Miller Brewing Company.

At Kohler, Maciolek was part of the company’s leadership team, working closely with its businesses, providing strategic and practical advice. She serves as the campaign cabinet member of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County and is an active member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin and Association of Corporate Counsel.

“I am thrilled to be joining Molson Coors and its long history of uniting people in celebration,” said Maciolek. “I was attracted to the company's family roots, values and commitment to putting people first.  It’s an exciting time for the company, and I look forward to working together to achieve our ambition.”
